Thank you for your reply.
I have 4 physical nvme drives. 2x 500gb and 2x 1tb. I was going to use a 500gb for PVE and a 1 TB for VMs. Honestly, I don't know how many VMs/containers that a 1TB will hold.
The 1 TB drives I have been used...
Interesting!
The "840 EVO" already seems to have a quirk entry in the Linux libata Kernel-Code.

I'd like to thank everyone that played around with the previous version of Proximo. I'd also like to PRE-THANK all of you that are going to play with Proximo. The biggest thing I'd like from this community is not at face buyin -- Im asking you to...
If this helps you at all- - think about flowing water when youre playing around here. Your setup is bascially taking everything and trying to proxy while inside/past your actual router mechanism. If you chose to turn most of the internal crud off...
I also suspect this is unrelated.
While My Windows 11 VM stopping trimming after Microsoft's 11 May 2026 Patch Tues update, an adjacent Windows 10 VM, on the same hypervisor, with the same 0.1.285 virtio-scsci drivers, continues to have...
Im running two Lenovo x3650's in my home lab. Been on proxmox for years, youre gonna love the LXC/VM capabilities.

Hi @Darkbotic,
there is a report in Debian about buggy firmware that won't boot a dual-signed shim. Maybe it's the same for your setup:

Hi @starstrk , welcome to the forum.
Keep in mind that disk Mirror is not a backup. It only protects you from a physical disk failure. Are all NVMe of the same type? Is one older than then others? Do they have different used percentage?
You may...
Hi @rkrick99 , welcome to the forum.
Congratulations on embarking on a new technology journey. Your post is mostly hardware oriented but does not contain an explicit question.
The hardware is certainly more than sufficient for a home experiment...
I am building my first proxmox server. I have 3 NVME drives and one spinning HDD.
My thoughts were to use one nvme for PVE, one for VMs & containers, and the HDD for ISO uploads etc.
With the last nvme I was going to mirror either the PVE or...
Yes, it just seems very odd to me.
Across 2 physical locations, 4 guests running Windows Server 2022, 1 guest running Windows Server 2025 which were all had trim working up until June 16th/17th-ish when I migrated 3 nodes from PVE 7 -> 9 (fresh...

Curious but according to my research it is unrelated.
I just spun up and updated a Windows Server 2025 on a current PVE 8.4.19 machine and still got the "Not supported" / "Incorrect function".
I know you said you run WinSrv 2022 and i will try...
