That's fine.
But for example, with CVE-2026-43134, I checked to see if the affected kernel modules (which the exploit uses (or at least it's a part of the exploit)) was running and it wasn't.
And before the patched kernel was rolled out, the...
We are excited to announce the release of Proxmox Virtual Environment 9.2. This release focuses heavily on platform refinement, stability, and core optimization.

Hello,
yes I can confirm, that this kind of problems started after switching to kernel 7.0. We already switched back to 6.17 to test it and confirmed that with 6.17 this kind of problem didn't happen. However: Also with Kernel 6.17 there were...
That's what I tried (I skipped the patching), the VM didn't find any NIC when I added that option (maybe I did it wrong), like this:
net0: virtio=BC:24:11:D4:9D:A9,bridge=vmbr0,firewall=1,host_tunnel=off
Hm, solved.
After a long day of wild clicking and much rebooting pve somewhen recocnised the volume and the disks are online.
No file changed.
Thanks for listening :)
Hi @whiggs
thanks for posting in the forum!
Just to be sure, the affected node is a physical server and not some form of nested virtualized instance of PVE, correct?
Can you please compare the ARP cache tables of both machines using arp -d...
Beta7 im CLI-Modus funktioniert problemlos. Habe meinen root-cron bereits umgestellt. Konnte bisher generell nur das .deb testen.
Ist ein Repository für die Pakete geplant?
I'd argue the opposite:
If ceph is performant with old, cheap, crappy hardware, then throwing new hardware at it would just make it run better, faster.
(I mean, this is why I am running an entirely virtualised cluster because that way, my GbE...
Iirc, one reason was to prevent clashes with potentially pre-existing configuration files in /etc. We could maybe implement specifiying the base path for the generated files to circumvent that and enable generation of the link files in /etc?

Hello everyone!
I'm experiencing the same issue with Windows Server 2022 on Proxmox VE 9.1.2.
I install Windows Server 2022 using a SCSI disk with the virtio-scsi-single controller. After the installation, I install the VirtIO network drivers...
Hello,
I have an issue accessing PBS backups through PDM.
PDM downloads the backup index files correctly, but fails when registering chunks from the .fidx file
erreur Log :

This shows that the backup server is using 213G in total, so your issue is not caused by prune or garbage-collection.
I'd start with
cd /mnt/BKP-Pol-One
ls -la
Then you can inspect the size of directories with du -sh directory
Hi @pille99
thanks for posting in the forum!
Do your VMs still have access to the Ceph storage?
In any case i would refer you to the documentation on changing the public and cluster network here [1].
There are two topics on what needs to be...
Hi,
All my nodes are listed with an error status in the SDN overview. I can't find any detailed information. I also have not noticed any actual issues. All nodes have been rebooted multiple times since this started happening, and SDN...
