Moin :) Gut die Erklärung lasse ich gelten. :) Meine erste DS gab es in 2015 in Form einer DS215j und die steht hier jetzt immer noch wieder verpackt im Karton herum, weil ich dafür dann irgendwann dank neuerer DS keine wirkliche Verwendung... -

As far as I know, yes you can skip this step, I however do not know if it would actually help with disk usage and chunk changes. (I would assume that regardless of if you write random data to disk before adding LUKS or not, you would eventually...

(at least on debian installers) it first write random data to the disk before adding LUKS As far as i know you can disable this with a checkbox - LUKS encryption without overwriting the whole disk.

See that one shows Unix time format while the other shows fully broken-out time. The latter takes up more screen width because there are more characters. It isn't a font problem, it is a display...

I first logged into PVE8 and ran `task list`, then logged into PVE9 and ran `task list` again.

Anyway, the font size for ssh would be controlled by your terminal, not by anything on the remote side.
