Any chance on some flexibility for licensing? I have a decent size install base across a few datacenters., but all of my development test nodes are licensed under community as I don't need support from Proxmox, so I either remove them to get...
Don't read them then. I'm not going to be silent about it until there's progress on the issue.
Being forced to mix paid enterprise PVE and no-sub PDM is asinine.
Anyone wanting to use ZFS or CEFT..with SAS drives, you have to put your controller into HBA mode, basically this removes the RAID configs and functions and puts the card into pass thru mode.
Be aware you should only do this from cold, since...
Hi,
Promos staff have already responded to that to your post (see : https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/message-no-valid-subscriptions.177349/#post-825922).
Community subscription is for enterprise repo of pve, pbs or pmg, not PDM (which can...
What really irks me is the paid community subscribers, who basically only paid to get rid of the nags and the paywalls... are now being nagged and paywalled again just because they haven't been fleeced for enough money for their FOSS software to...
Hey!
Just wanted to let you know that thanks to @Nevuly , the issue has been resolved.
@HammyHavoc , we are back in business with the IoMemory cards :)
To all - please make sure that you unload the old drivers and redo the installation...
Hi,
Have you followed the upgrade guide[0] ?
I personally upgraded my PBS3 to 4, 3 days ago, and it's work like a charm.

Best regards,
Is there a way to use the secondary network in a cluster for command (ssh) communication?
I have two interfaces on all hosts in a cluster: a local 192.168.x.x, and a public with public ips, set as ring0 and ring1, respectively in corosync. Due to...
Thanks daanw, much appreciated! I ran the following command and will keep monitoring PVE for any potential hardware unit hangs.
ethtool -K eno1 gso off gro off tso off
What do your EFI partitions look like?
If it works sporadically maybe you have duplicate IDs and/or one of EFI partitions didn't update correctly.
Can you run:
cat /etc/kernel/proxmox-boot-uuids
lsblk -f |grep vfat
I don't use an R630, but if I did, this is what I would probably do:
1. I'd reset/clear the BIOS & clear all UEFI data + keys & update it to latest for that R630 (2.19.0 ?).
2. Ensure UEFI is selected & SB is disabled.
3. Wipe the disks.
4...
I'm dealing with this too. It's really bad because my integrated NICs (the page doesn't mention it, but the controllers are X553s) reset every few seconds with the base kernel driver, even if I disable all the optimizations/features.
And...
community sub is below basic, but still a valid sub, so all the messages are correct.
you have subs everywhere, just not on a high enough level to be eligible for enterprise support on PDM.
