What's the output of du -sh /lib/modules /boot /var/cache/apt/archives/?
Assuming the system is running a 7.0.x kernel now, I feel another apt purge proxmox-kernel-6* && apt autoclean coming up. ;)
The only two interfaces on the same subnet are the cluster's direct NICs, since the documentation said not to use a bond for the cluster. How would this be fixed without just using one NIC? Also, why would that only affect the two servers...
You have two interfaces sitting on the same subnet, its very likely that this is what is tripping you up. I would recommend avoiding this configuration when possible.
If you are curious, you should examine routes and ARP tables during the...
Forgot to say...
Upgrading to 6.17.13-11 also completely solved the high iodelay problem when io-thread is active on a VM. Posting this in case it's useful for someone suffering from the same issue.
Solved thanks to bbgeek17. LACP misconfiguration on my end.
I am not new to technology, but I have never used Proxmox before. I have been setting up my first cluster. I have two Dell servers and a QDevice. Cluster is active. The weird issue I am...
I have updates on my installation stability. With the upgrade to pve-qemu-kvm 11.0 from 10.2.1, proxmox 8 kernel (6.8.12) was having trouble with i/o threading.
Suddenly every vm was queueing I/o, to the point that global iodelay was greater...
also during backups other nodes had the following errors. however the backups succeeded
May 26 00:00:12 pve7 pve-ha-lrm[3892712]: VM 101 qmp command failed - VM 101 qmp command 'query-status' failed - got timeout

Hi! One of the nodes I'm using Proxmox in is experiencing high IOwait from time to time, and I'm very confident this is because physical disk bandwidth limitation.
The storage being affected is a 3 disk raidZ1 pool, all of them 2.5" SSDs (Mix of...
Okay, so, `journcalctl -k` of this morning'S incident:
I think the server becomes unreachable only when i am connected to it and using it (either the proxmox ui or one of the vms/lxcs.
It does not seem to happen just because I was offline for a...
Since there are currently no deb-src available one would need to build these from source from your git.proxmox.com repo?
This is not exactly easy or user friendly.
Would it be possible to compile it for arm at the same time you build the static...
Thanks Impact, that command seems to be working the same as ncdu -x, except it also shows the mounted stores.
The total usage is as I said 13GB of 26Gb indicted in the Proxmox GUI. The problem is that the usage seems to have grown after the...
as the previous poster already said, logs of the boot as well as an overview of the network configuration would be interesting:
journalctl -b > syslog.txt
cat /etc/network/interfaces
cat /etc/network/interfaces.d/sdn
