Das nenne ich mal abenteuerliches Konstrukt. Viel einfacher und gar nicht so unüblich wäre eine zum PBS parallele RAW-Sicherung. Wie prüfst du eigentlich, ob deine Rücksicherung nicht nur ohne Fehler zurückkopiert wurde, sondern auch startfähig...

So I redacted the snap names... This is the latest version of Proxmox using the backup tool built into the system. So just selecting the LXC's from the list...
