Hello,
I have several Proxmox clusters of 3 dedicated servers each. Previously, I used GlusterFS to replicate the VM disks between the three servers in the cluster so that if one server went down, the VMs would restart on the two remaining...
Hi all,
I am experiencing a recurring and frustrating issue with Windows 10 VMs (both Pro and Enterprise editions) when deploying them via the WHMCS Proxmox Addon.
The Setup:
Proxmox Version: pve-manager/9.1.1/42db4a6cf33dac83 (Running kernel...
The package cloud-init is part of Debian. This version normally fixed for each Debian release, so with the advent of Debian 14 Forky and upcoming PVE 10 the current version available right now is 25.3, so not that much newer. That may for Debian...
So I made the cardinal sin of form posting of forgetting to come back after the burn in test went well...
I found that I had not actually updated to the latest bios on both, so I gave that a shot.
Once I updated to the latest, everything was...
Hi @Helmo,
what QEMU version was the VM started with (check the time of the VM Start task before the failure and check your APT history to see which version was installed at the time)?
Please check the system logs/journal to see the actual error...
Hi @rostbond, we're currently waiting for patch #7017 to be available in the enterprise repository.
After this we will evaluate the performance on our free PBS & re-open registrations.
We do not have a waitinglist which can be subscribed to I'm...
Regarding the booting issue, if you added the hard disk to the VM after the initial creation, Proxmox usually does not include the new disk in the boot sequence by default. You should check the boot order settings:
Select your VM in the Proxmox...
Hi,
another way to find out where pvestatd is at, is to check the process tree (e.g. with ps faxl) if it has spawned a child process. And you can use the following to see where in the Perl code it is:
apt install perl-stacktrace
perl-stacktrace...
Hi Singman,
This is indeed the expected behavior. The ha-manager command and the maintenance mode it triggers only apply to resources that are currently managed by the High Availability (HA) stack.
If your VM is not added to the HA resources...
Yeah, you can switch the network in the Datacenter menu under Options. Just keep in mind that 2x10G isn’t a lot for Ceph, if a migration starts running, you can hit bottlenecks pretty fast. I think, there’s also an option to limit the migration...

I'm using Rspamd together with a custom script.
Rspamd has many advantages and works well alongside the SpamAssassin filters I’ve fine-tuned. You get a additional score which is great to sort out some additional spam. Bonus: Often it does NOT...

For CT passthrough you should not touch modprobe. The NVIDIA installer blacklists nouveau itself. There's also a better way to do this via the NVIDIA toolkit. No need to install/update things in the CT. To fix the auto start see here.
This is interesting to know. Didn't think in flatpak would have issues in privileged mode.
Then again I have used that same `lxc.mount.auto: sys:mixed proc:rw` line there too as it's needed when using privileged LXC containers as Container-Hosts...
