Thank you both for your replies.
I am first wondering why Proxmox does not support such functionality? Is it a design choice or is it just that it has not been requested or implemented as yet?
I looked at this solution...

Yeah, we reverted now to doing that as well. But vmbr names are now nice and descriptive, and bonds are just numbered. It would be nice to eliminate that restriction.
The hook works when VMs resume from hibernation, but not when they are paused (according to the log files). It appears that the hooks are not being triggered. Can you confirm this, and/or do you perhaps have a solution for this? When I put the...
Did you install zfsutils-linux in the Debian LXC? Leaving aside the issues of a non privileged container, a Debian LXC won't have the user space tools installed until you install the zfsutils-linux package through apt in your LXC.

Pass through the entire controller, that is the recommended method, although people do have the system functioning with the disks pass-through. The issue is that it's then possible (unlikely)...
We are running it to publish a few smb network shares. Probably not all best-practices implemented, but we haven't bothered with pass-through since we want to do easy migrations:
One thing we used to have working is "Previous Versions" in...
