I question that setup to begin with. You are passing through the whole disk to a guest, while at the same time mounting/using a portion/partition of it on the host. Wish you good luck that you do not experience some kind of corruption sooner or... -

Hi Ripon, there can be multiple reasons für this kind of behaviour and the root cause can also be caused by the Hypervisor/ Host. The described behaviour could probably point to a out of memory situation (especially with only 16GB RAM). You... -

Apparently in the newer kernel, you need to Enable Resizable BAR in your BIOS. In 6.17.4-2 the driver attempts to resize BAR 2 from 256 MiB to 16 GiB but fails (due to lack of ReBAR support) and falls back gracefully to the original assignment...

KWhy did you delete the data LV that local-lvm is referencing? You gave all of the space to root (local) which is made for storing files and such, not guests. You technically can, but I don't recommend it. I'm really not a fan of LVM managing...
