I did try that before. Now I disabled it, enabled it again, shut down VM, started. Getting the same dependancy fail. I guess I will need to come back home and start it all over again. I was fighting it for 2 days now.
Enabled on host and...
@aL1aL7, stimmt, da war ich gerade wo anderster. Seit PVE 9 unterstützt thick LVM über Volume-Chain-Snapshots tatsächlich qcow2 mit Snapshot-Funktionalität.

That means you did not enable the guest agent in Proxmox. After doing so the VM needs to be completely shut down and started via Proxmox to make the changes take affect.
Please do so and try again.
Oh yeah. on the screenshot command is enable, but I did try "start". Screenshot is below. On the other screenshot is says that /dev/virtio-ports doesn't exist. Does that ment vm doesn't see the serial port on the host?
Problem is, most of it just doesnt make any sense whatsoever as its just thrown in a thread without even investing time to markup the post and remove the nonsense in it in the slightest way. Please invest the time to either adequately edit...
Hello dear Proxmox-Community,
We are using a Proxmox Backup Server to back up data to S3. However, we are encountering errors during various operations. In the logs, we found these multiple errors:

I understand your request. As someone who has been passionate about Linux systems for over 20 years, I enjoy doing things myself and strive to go beyond what AI can offer when it comes to listing and summarizing roughly eight hours of testing and...
Hello! thank you the reply! Yes I did try to reinstall the guest agent, shut down system, started again. I tried disabling agent in the host, removing serial port serial0, VirtIO. Then added it all back, reinstalled the agent again and enabled in...

My zones are PURELY internal.
I have EVPN zones with:

* VMs on that zone with single interfaces, talking to each other, using proxmox basic...
Hello, I'm new to Linux and I'm Russian. I have a problem with http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pve/.
For cleanliness, I left only pve-enterprise.sources and proxmox.sources with such content.
Ping works without any problems. This is my first...

Hmm I just tested the ping. The result looks somehow ... strange.
192.168.10.201 is the host I am doing the ping 1.1.1.1 - That is OK
But 192.168.1.10 is the old IP of my proxmox server. Where do that comes from?
I changed 'everything' from...
Your Speedport router is handing out hostnames like wolf.speedport.ip, but that only works if the router actually registers that device name in its own DNS.
When you try dieter.speedport.ip, your PC asks the router: “Hey, what’s the IP for this?”...
Some information is better than none, no?
I would find 2 size fields very useful:
Backup Size - Size of the backup ignoring dedup: sum of all the chunks in use by the backup. This would be a more appropriate size to be returned to Proxmox VE...
