The Debian installation worked somewhat better, but still TINY, TINY text and bootloader problems.
TINY, TINY text is a display resolution problem that runs through linux distros, needs to be fixed.
That my ASUS ZenBook can't handle a grub...
I tried to install Debian and it got further but I have to say that both proxmox and debian installation has a lot to improve.
Text is tiny on high resolution screens.
Error messages are funky for non-linux experts.
So I'm just gonna stay in...
Es funktioniert nicht ausschließlich mittels ZFS Replikation. Meine Aussage war vollkommen korrekt, jedoch in diesem Fall schlecht formuliert, denn dafür wäre dann wie erwähnt HA notwendig. Deinen Elfenbeinturm der didaktischen Überheblichkeit...
Hello

Since I didn't get any responses here, I asked chatgpt and eventually got it worked out. I want to post my fix in case anyone else comes across the same problem.

Just ran into this exact issue after attempting an upgrade from 8.3.0 to the latest version. After hours of searching online for a fix, found your post. Noticed I had "EFI System" listed on one of my partitions when running fdisk -l but wasn't...
Thanks for that. I didn't know of that option. output from your suggested commands both within the VM and the host is below.
Both VMs actually show really high CPU usage of kvm inside the VMs. However, the host for the R740 also shows CPU usage...

make VirtIO storage driver ready using https://github.com/croit/load-virtio-scsi-on-boot
migrate
uninstall VMware...
actual errors would be useful- this can refer to the zfs pool or the storage pool in pve.
No. each pool must have a different name on the same host. same goes for pve stores.
pvesm remove SATAPool
out of curiosity- why do you keep bringing up the other node? are they clustered? if clustered, dont delete the store; you need to go to datacenter-storage and make sure you EXCLUDE the node that doesnt have that pool in it...
make sure that only the node that actually has this store is in this box:
also, you need a third node or qdevice in your cluster or you can have issues if any node is down.
