AWhy you have external help? When External Audit comes(Grant Thornton,KPMG etc etc) first they ask you is "what if you get hit by a bus", who will support that and that. That is why you need to have external maintenance contracts.

DHI, since 2 days, some of our VMs just loose network. Nobody did anything, no changes on the VM, the hosts and the physical switches. The connection just drops and yersterday, after an hour or so, it came back. This is on different VMs on...

Ah, I just checked that node again, while I used LVM on its included 1TB drive I did not use ext4 on top of that, I used XFS. I've got the VMs on another pair of M.2s I added later which are in a ZFS mirror.
