    Even if it existed, I don't think the speed would change, but please try it. Disabling the Balloon driver is common practice in Windows, so this is what I do. https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Performance_Tweaks Do not use the Virtio Balloon...

    Das ist nicht de Anspruch vom PBS und wird er nie können. Ich nutze weiterhin Veeam für Application Aware, aber nur noch per Agent auf den paar Servern wo es benötigt wird. Der Agent läuft 1000x stabiler als die derzeitige PVE Integration.

    You might produce something like "FABC: optimizing a pool by utilizing the new features of ZFS 2.4" or similar ;-) I would definitely read it :-) I hesitate to roll out that update (in my Homelab) though...

    Good idea, I would have to think about a kind of realistic scenario for comparing different setups though ;) Yes, I wouldn't do it right now either. But it's great news, that we won't have to wait until PVE10 to use the new feature ;)

    in host , test result are almost reaching the manufacturer specs for 4kQ32T1 ( ~ 90 K iops ) results in host ~ 70K IOPs / 280MB/s

    Damit du Snapshots und Thin Provisioning hast. Bei ZFS hast du sogar noch Kompression, Replikation, usw. Es gbt zwar snapshot-as-volume-chain, aber ich denke LVM-Thin ist dem vorzuziehen.

    actually i didn't mean the task log, but the whole journal/syslog from both nodes. you can obtain that with journalctl (this will print the *whole* journal, use '--until' and '--since' to limit it to the correct timeframe)
