Warum extra ein Windows dazwischen packen? Kopiere es doch direkt vom PVE auf das NAS. Du kannst das ja auch automatisch als Cron Job einrichten. Dann hast du wieder eine Fehlerquelle weniger.

Dann richte dir doch "einfach" ein LXC mit samba ein, der diese Verzeichnisse bereitstellt, so dass du sie über Windows nutzen kannst. Ich würde diesen Umweg nicht machen. Ich nutze z.B. rsync um Daten zwischen Ziel und Quelle zu transferieren.
