Thanks! The GDB trace indicates that it happened during a write zeroes operation. I was able to reproduce the issue by issuing lots of small discard requests with
for i in {0..1000000}
do off=$(expr 512 '*' $i); blkdiscard -z -o $off -l 4096...
Solved this problem.
Root cause that CentOS /usr/libexec/mysqld needs capability SYS_NICE
Need to remove "sys_nice" in lxc.cap.drop in file:
/usr/share/lxc/config/centos.common.conf
Reboot containers, all must be fine.
The first attempt under gdb reproduced the failure with the following job output and attached gdb backtrace

is the DNS working on the PDM machine? What if you check the result in the shell of the PDM with dig? dig HOSTNAME
Does a fallback to IPs working?

Happy New Year,
since the end of November last year we are experiencing issues with one of our proxmox clusters, which we cannot get a grip on. The issue first appeared as a terraform provider tried to create some resources. The runs frequently...
Ich kopiere mal meine Antwort aus einen anderen Thread hier rein ;)
Swap will man schon haben, wobei das aber kein physikalischer SWAP sein muss, siehe folgenden Artikel eines Kernel-Entwicklers...
1. we did fix the issue we could reproduce quite fast
2. despite this long thread, only a (small!) subset of systems is affected, which is the reason why we haven't been able to reproduce the remaining issue at all so far, despite many hours...
Not able to add any of my 3 proxmox nodes (9.1.2) to PDM (1.0.0). Getting the alert api error (status = 400: client error (Connect)). Port 8006 is not blocked, verified DNS entries for all the 3 nodes. Any idea, if I've missed anything?
Check your /etc/hosts and /etc/network/interfaces. Please note that Proxmox does not support DHCP out of the box and it's best to use a static IP address outside the DHCP-range of the router.
It looks like an issue for this already exists in tar-rs which we use for extracting OCI image layers: https://github.com/alexcrichton/tar-rs/issues/367
