Unfortunately, I don't know, because I've always used Parsec, but as far as I know, you can upload Virtual Display without Parsec. It's available anyway; it used to work for me on GMKTEC M5PRO before I started using Parsec or Moonlight...
you can give the PVE access token only access to read old backups and create new ones, but not remove/prune backups. you can combine this with a sync job on the PBS side to keep an offsite archive that is decoupled from the main PBS system (with...
I did this: I installed the latest Proxmox and did all the updates, and then I immediately started entering commands from: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/PCI_Passthrough
That is
dmesg | grep -e DMAR -e IOMMU
dmesg | grep 'remapping'
echo "options...
@bytegenius You can file a feature request here: https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/
Once you do that, please post the link back here so people can follow it.
@lost_avocado where did you see this? Can you post a link to it?
How do you get the port...
does work only for you if parsec is installed? because for me the display works fine until windows enables the amd graphics driver and then it all goes to garbled crap. if i disable to amd driver the display comes back but i have only 800x600...
And as you can see, I have the image on my monitor and through Parsec, and I see the same thing on both :)
And tell me, did you extract the Vbios using this?
You know what, I uploaded the latest BIOS from December and extracted both the VBIOS and ROM from it, so that should help you.
Additionally, try uploading Parsec, but for the entire system, not just for the user + the virtual display. My monitor...
I think I do understand this reasonably OK.
I never said I expected it to boot UEFI when in Legacy First mode :). Just when I first test-installed PVE on the server, I forgot to check the boot mode.
I know PVE can boot in Legacy mode, but as I...
We're playing around with it since the first release candidates in QA and think that we will be able to provide a public build on the test repo in the comming weeks.
When we actually provide full (enterprise) support depends a bit on QA and how...
An SSD reports itself as SSD, a HDD does NOT report itself as HDD, because there was nothing else than HDD for many decades.
Do you experience problems with this report? It makes no practical difference in running the computer.
After changing the networks of your Proxmox, you may have to adjust your Proxmox network configuration. Check the /etc/network/interfaces file for your eno1 interface and any bridge settings and restart the networking, or recreate the bridge...
cloning the disk does not care about its contents at all..
is this a physical disk? or iSCSI? or ? please provide more data!
could you also post "lvmconfig --typeconfig full | grep -e thin -e zero" and "pveversion -v", thanks!
that would just be more complicated, but still require PDM to have all that access to PVE.. it would also make certain optimizations impossible, like collecting metrics/tasks/status/.. once and exposing it to different PDM users (with filtering).
