Oops, based on your response, I had to edit my post again... I realize that I was fortunate: I only ever had problems with the lock.

If it were just a simple lock error and the backups didn’t run, that would be fine. In my case, however, the WorkerVM LUN filled up, the worker process got stuck, and all machines that had an active backup snapshot also crashed. This is damaging...

Are you sure? apt install pve-edk2-firmware-aarch64 Package pve-edk2-firmware-aarch64 is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source

First, why not license Proxmox - its really not that expensive and the company behind must pay somehow their bills ;-)... so you get support - although in my case there was no solution... I agree with j.gelissen - I lost days trying to fix the...

another reminders : 1/ scsi driver cannot be installed if scsi disk is not attached. 2/ scsi driver cannot be "preinstalled" (excepting the offline injection)

i kept the worker running.. no issues

I'm using the root account, because the veeamdep user+sudo was not able to read the network settings, while connecting VBR->PVE. Openend another ticket with Veeam, they said again it's Proxmox issue :-) Is there any side-effects of scheduling the...

Hi everyone! I just wanted to write a guide for those (like myself) trying out GPU passthrough with the HP ProDesk 600 G1 in 2025... I needed to enable VT-d using the "Replicated setup" method (previously mentioned here) in the UEFI/BIOS as the...

Before Veeam 13.0.x I kept the worker running, this was working without any issues - I would suggest you do this. Maybe there is another try: do you use the root Proxmox account with Veeam or another one using sudo to perform the tasks? I would...

Apologies if I am over explaining but to be clearer than what I wrote, installing the SCSI driver from ISO is not sufficient, Windows has to use it. Hence the 1 GB disk. But if you’ve done that then your issue is probably something else.

Hi @Adasvejas , welcome to the forum. Start by reducing your DHCP range so that the PVE IP is not within it. That usually helps with access to non-standard ports. you should use the same one that you have on your windows workstation. You can...

I would just open a case there. They should see how good their product is.

hi, as it seems syncing a datastore to another pbs will "inherit" the verify state of the source snapshot(s) is there a way to unset that verified flag on/after transfer so verify can be run AFTER transfer/sync, so we can verify freshly...

I'm facing the same issue with Veeam 13.0.1 and Proxmox 9.1.2. The backup runs correctly for a few days, then the lock issue occurs. Opened ticket at Veeam, they said it's a Proxmox issue, as Veeam is calling Proxmox's API and there is no...

See https://pdm.proxmox.com/docs/installation.html#system-requirements It depends also a bit on how many virtual guests (CTs and VMs) are on those 100 nodes, we'll look into adding some more sizing hints for that in the docs.

Write Back, schreibt immer erst einmal in den RAM.
