Use a free support ticket for issues with your subscription (which is different from a license, which for Proxmox is AGLP3) as only Promxox people can help you.
EDIT: Never mind, the change got applied automatically after some time.
With ZFS both datastores have access to to the whole disk's storage and due to compression you efectively have more too :)
The size allocated to the root volume can be changed via the maxroot option in the installer.
https://sirlagz.net/2023/07/03/updated-live-resize-lvm-on-linux/
Install webmin (runs on port 10000) - after clong and ^^ resizing, the LVM module makes using the remaining space a 1-button fix.
I had the same DMA issue passing through NIC cards.
Here is how I fixed it.
The boot log from kernel 6.17.4-1-pve shows recurring DMAR faults (e.g., [DMA Read NO_PASID] Request device [02:00.0] fault addr 0x5464000 [fault reason 0x0c] non-zero...
Will try thanks. Not worried about sound as I wont be using the gpu with hdmi physical out. Will be used by remote gaming with sunshine/steam link. So the display will be virtual.

d-i debian-installer/country string US
d-i debian-installer/locale string en_US.UTF-8

Strange. I wanted to see if I could upload another ISO but didn't want to use anything big (takes a bit of time). So from here: https://www.alpinelinux.org/downloads/
pulled down specifically...
Can you check to see if your pvestatd service in Proxmox is crashing? It's probably that. I have a branch being tested by @curruscanis at the moment to see if it fixes a similar issue.
qemu-server 9.1.3 available on pve-test now should fix this issue. affected VMs do need to be stopped and started (or live-migrated *outside of a node reboot/shutdown!) for the fix to take affect.
Thanks, that will be useful
For now I setup web infrastructure and as @wolframio suggested, I'm using that as shorthand to download and run the script like this
wget router.lan/erl ; sh erl
much easier to type by hand at least !
Workarounds:
On pve server:
adduser yourusernamehere
Use winSCP to upload ISOs to /home/yourusernamehere and move them using PVE node Shell (as root) to /var/lib/vz/template/iso/
OR chown yourusernamehere /var/lib/vz/template/iso/ (you might...
I tried increasing arc from the 3.2gb it was, to 8gb, and I was able to actually complete the upload. I tried also playing with dirty cache up to max_max of 4gb, also increasing txg transfer group from 5second to 10, nothing else helped the up...

Then you have an easy guideline. Odds are it just means that if you were allowed to multitenant clients on the same metal with VMWare you can do it with PVE and remain compliant. If you have specific concerns, post them and see if the community...
