qemu-server 9.1.3 available on pve-test now should fix this issue. affected VMs do need to be stopped and started (or live-migrated *outside of a node reboot/shutdown!) for the fix to take affect.

Thanks, that will be useful For now I setup web infrastructure and as @wolframio suggested, I'm using that as shorthand to download and run the script like this wget router.lan/erl ; sh erl much easier to type by hand at least !

I tried also playing with dirty cache up to max_max of 4gb, also increasing txg transfer group from 5second to 10, nothing else helped the up...

Well, then I would say that it mainly depends on whether the disks need to be encrypted or not. If not, Proxmox Installer; if so, Debian 13 and then Proxmox on top of it.

Auf der OPNsense Firewall selber geht es auch. Muss ich nur noch rausfinden welches "sicherheitsfeature" hier nun zuschlägt.
