That is avoided if you use snapshot volume... -
RAre you sure you need autotrim and that the behaviour you see is related to it? Also there's already a cronjob doing a zfs trim for you.

If you have a Proxmox Backupserver and as Storrage full SSD, you have a fast full backup with deduplication of your data. in some case i can say its a "incremental backup"... -
