You don't have to. It's rather easy to trigger by manually creating a cloud-init volume with the same name on the target, which I used for reproducing the issue and testing the patch.

Good news : proxmox V9 with its new debian 13 linux kernel solved the trick. I performed the migration by following the well-documented procedure.

Ingo S replied to the thread Exzessive Kernel Log Meldungen.

Sorry, missed that comment, thanks for the hint. . i think adding this information to the API is a good thing since it makes it easier to implement this functionality in third-party-monitoring (e.G. pulse, ProxmoxVE-specifig plugins for...

it is for filtering traffic inside the vnet itself - you can check the documentation for more information [1] [1] https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#_directions_amp_zones

uzumo replied to the thread AMD W7600 Passthrough.
Even if it's just a part of it, did it work out? Congratulations. Maybe there's a kernel patched specifically for Ubuntu, not just the driver. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/6.17.0-9.9 Several AMD-related fixes are listed. *...

So what exactly is the purpose of the vnet firewall?
  • U
Is it really unnecessary... that's the question. Since we migrated without consolidating, the VMDK differences might have been created there, but I suspect those differences contain the latest information. However, since we've already changed...
