Hi everyone!
I wrote and shared a small program for Proxmox (I called it vUSBPB) that allows you to turn on a selected virtual machine using a virtual button on your computer - without using a console or GUI. All you need to do is plug any (or...
Hi,
I'm currently evaluating Proxmox with a three node cluster (pve[1-3] - VE 9.0.3) and a single PDM (version 1.0) instance. To manage my cluster, I added a remote probe (pve1) in PDM which created an API-Token on my cluster with the default...

This is really cool! I often set up a single Proxmox host with 2–3 VMs, each with a physical monitor, keyboard/mouse, and GPU passthrough for different users. This will definitely help. Thanks!
Sorry for digging this post up. I also have UHD 630 (i7-9700), and this is one of many guides that has worked for some users, even on PVE 9:

Hi riahc3
There is no offical PVE HCL but PVE uses a modified Ubuntu Kernel you can check the Ubuntu HCL. PVE9 currently uses Kernel version 6.14 (Ubuntu HWE) and you can opt-in for a 6.17 Kernel.

Unless your RAM is of ECC type it can also be the culprit.
You can also try verifying the backups again. I have seen situations where next verification succeeds.
I don't think this thread is about the session timeout. It's the fact that PVE uses SMB connect/teardown as a means to probe/healthcheck the CIFS storage.

Hi all,
First, I wanted to thank the Proxmox Team for their work on PDM, as this tool will certainly help us to manage our multiple clusters / PBS across datacentres.
Now, I'm playing with this in the lab, and was wondering what were the...
Ok the accept_ra 2 setting doesn't work but activating RA via sysctl works for me, sysctl net.ipv6.conf.vmbr0.accept_ra=2. Argh I hope the now mandatory ifupdown2 doesn't introduce more problems.

Would you mind posting the exact configuration contained in /etc/network/interfaces ? That would help pinpointing / reproducing the issue and providing a fix.
Yo can try to use a tool like Clonezilla or Linux dd, if the disk has errors you can use ddrescue
