This cannot be stressed enough. A used enterprise SSD with PLP does not cost more then 40 euro on ebay, just buy it and spend your lifetime on something better.
Hi everyone,
I updated ProxMox to version 9.1.2 today.
I was wondering if there was still a solution for my HD530 iGPU in my Intel Core i7 6700T CPU, which worked great up to ProxMox 8.x.x.
I've seen some solutions for N100 and N150 processors...
I really tried to find an existing thread, but everything I find is either related to the main/boot pool, or adding an encrypted dataset only, so I figured I write down my steps for my own documentation and maybe it'll help someone else out too...
Just to update you guys.
Ubuntu VM with an e1000e nic successfully ran IPerf3 for 10 hours at gigabit speeds with 0 retransmissions and no crashing.
Windows 10 VM with a VirtIO nic has been running IPerf3 for 8 hours at gigabit speeds. No...
Ok, never mind. I'm an idiot.
I have just been playing with this. I didn't realize the instructions were really only intended for those using the "enterprise" version (i.e., subscription-based).
For anyone like me who is just tinkering, note...

Hey,
Just installed version 1.0 of PDM, and I'm still happy with the ease of use and speed of the product :)
However, I wanted to test the API and ran into a permission issue with API tokens.
I have created an API token (root@pam!api-scraper)...
Been trying to upgrade our ALPHA install to 1.0 using the instructions here: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Proxmox_Datacenter_Manager_Upgrade_from_Alpha_to_1
All the early steps went fine. Made sure we were on 0.1.12, etc. Went through each...
I’ve gone back to using Debian PXE preseed and PVE install via Ansible playbook. I’ll get the info for you nonetheless as it would still be interesting to debug in any case. Wil prob be next week when I’m back at work. Thankyou for responding.

Definitely not the same issue, even if the symptom is the same. I remember having somewhat similar issue on some Dell long ago (AFAIR it was when PVE7.0 came out) and enabling all of X2APIC, IOMMU and SRIOV on BIOS + BIOS update solved it at the...
