Dear Team,
I kindly seek your support and expertise regarding the optimal configuration for a new virtual machine that I intend to deploy on a Proxmox environment. I have already set up Proxmox on the physical server detailed below, and I am...
Oh, wonderful, that's how it works. Thank you for your help.
pvesh create /cluster/acme/account --contact name@domain.com --name <account_name> --eab-kid <eab-kid> --eab-hmac-key <eab-hmac-key> --directory...
ok, found the solution:
Somehow, the reimported image did not really work. While it booted without passthrough, some programms could not start.
Also, my formerly working vm config does not work for the newest win 11 release.
So, I created a...
ah ok, so that too is missing..
don't worry, there is still a way that should work ;)
you can directly use the api or use the cli helper tool 'pvesh' (which exposes the whole api on the cli)
pvesh create /cluster/acme/account --contact...
Found your thread while trying to find the cause for this myself.
This could have multiple causes, but in my case using TrueNAS, I had maproot set to the user I want, not mapall. So the user (/their mapped ID) within the LXC had no permissions...
Hi,
A newbie here!
So I've seen that Proxmox has installed new kernels with the latest being 6.14.11-3-pve but when I boot I still get 6.14.8-2-pve
After talking with AI I figured out that I'm booting to Boot0000 proxmox GRUBX64.EFI
And that...
I recall that with older CPUs, performance was only about 1/3 of what could be achieved with physical hardware
*regardless of the connection method
This is not the case with the latest CPUs
It might be slowing down due to vulnerability fixes or...
Sorry, that doesn't work because you can't specify the keyid and key in the cli command like you can via the GUI on the node.

Hi Victor,
restore on Hyper-V is working for me in general, but I don't have and ESXi for testing. Do you have subscription with Veeam? Their support is quite good.
Regards,

Hi Fiona,
those two are reasonably small and secret, how can I share full logs without compromising internal information e.g. IP-addresses and servernames etc. in here?
Hi @bbgeek17 thanks for info.
I have found out this thread https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/ubuntu-vm-wont-start-when-cloned-to-lvm-iscsi-shared-storage-local-storage-ok.141237/page-2 that seems to be related as it describes similar process...
this is likely the same issue also affecting pve-subscription, since both use the same underlying HTTP client: https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/show_bug.cgi?id=6791
Hello,
Is Veeam restore working for you with PVE plugin v12.1.5.17 either with PVE9 or PVE8.x?
Recently Veeam has published PVE plugin v12.1.5.17 which should support PVE9 [1]. Tried using it to restore some backups made from ESXi but after...
Hi,
thanks for asking, and sorry for beeing that unprecise.
I first tried to backup via vzdump 100 --storage local but that resulted in the error message: could not activate storage "local": storage local is disabled cloud not get storage...
Hi,
the service runs fine for me. Please share the full system logs/journal from around the time of the failure as well as the output of pveversion -v.
