Zoneminder with dedicated storage

Hey everyone,

I"m fairly new to Proxmox and trying to run zoneminder under Ubuntu in an LXC container with dedicated storage. I have a 120GB SSD in my server for all LXC storage etc. I also have a 3TB WD purple that I want to be used exclusively for storage of zoneminder events.
Can anyone give me any help doing this? I did a search of the forum but couldn't find anything like this.

i would format and mount the disk on the host, and bind mount it into the container
