hi, I was installing proxmox and chose raid(0) zfc using 1 disk. although I'm not going to add disks to raid. Proxmox allowed me to install this on 1 disk and created two partitions local and local-zfs. my disk has a volume of 500gb and each partition has 500GB. Why is this so and is it possible to leave it like this?

Those are not partitions. local is a directory storage on the rpool and local-zfs is a ZFS storage on the same rpool, and they therefore share the same space (since ZFS is sparse). Please see the manual to learn more about storage types in Proxmox: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#chapter_storage
