I recently bought a Dell R710(sff) and decided to have it run proxmox. I installed proxmox onto a ssd, and have 4 x 300gb drives in zfs raid10 storing all of the vm's and ct's. The 4 drives were sdb, sdc, sdd, sde. about 2 weeks later i added 4 x 1tb drives for plex storage. After getting the 4 x 1tb drives in zfs raid5 i noticed the previous zpool was degraded. For some reason one of the new drives took sdb and the 300gb drive that was in that spot moved to sdf.

I am running all of the spinning drives off of a H200 crossflashed to a LSI 9211-8i in it mode. and all spinning drives are sas drives.

Is there any easy way to fix this? If i have to remake all the zfs pools, how would i prevent this in the future?

edit: all drives are known to be good, and the original 4 x 300gb drives were never diconnected.
