ZFS over iSCSI, storage network disconnect is not triggering HA failover for VM's

Hi,

I have a setup with 6 servers, 4 PVE nodes and 2 Truenas servers for Shared storage, 1 Truenas is for storage and the other is a replication target for the main NAS and backups.

These servers are split so that we have 2 PVE's + Truenas servers in setup in 2 separate locations.

The PVE management network is completely seperate from the storage network.

My issue now is that HA is not triggered and VM's wont automatically restart on another PVE if curent PVE loses storage network connectivity. If management network goes down, it works as expected though.

So is there anyway to fix this setup so that storage network is monitored also for HA?

This would be interessant to know if Proxmox normally checks whether the Storage connection is alive or not and the HA will be activated.
vmware in comparison save some little files on the storage for failure checking.
