ZFS over ISCSI storage for LXC

The wiki states
you can use any storage type supported by the Proxmox VE storage library
However, when I create a container, my ZFS over iSCSI storage is not listed among the root disk storages. Does that mean that ZFS over iSCSI is an exception?

I would vote for a ZFS over NFS storage for LXC, which is the better solution due to its 'fileness' (better to use file storage for files than blockstore for files), yet nothing on the horizon.
