I'm just now dabbling with openvz containers, so apologies if this is a stupid question.

Can X servers be run in an openvz container? And by extension X apps (say, gedit or leafpad or vmware) be run through an ssh -X session on the remote box?

I'm running proxmox 2 VE beta 3, if it's relevant.

Thanks!

Only X servers which does not require any display hardware (for example X11vnc).

Note: You do not need any X server to run a X app through ssh -X session (only at the client).

I am not sure if this app is web based as my programming knowledge is blank. But a fully functional app may bring commercial value to Proxmox or whoever wants to start the project. Have no clue what is involved in developing Android/iOS app. Dont know if it is even worth it.
Anyone want to collaborate?
