Hi

I had a WinServer 2022 installation under ProxMox which was working fine, until there seems to some hardware issue which then somehow affected the ProxMox installation.

I then re-installed ProxMox and tried to reinstall WinServer 2022 but the Windows installation won't even start. There were a few BSOD and now there's a 'Windows Boot Manager' screen telling me use installation media to repair (which doesn't work since I'm already booting from installation media).

Would anyone have any thoughts on how to proceed? Is my computer dead or salvageable?

Please post a few more details about your setup. Are you still having problems with other VMs? Have you ever rebooted the node?

Sure, absolutely have tried rebooting the VM and the node before going about the reinstall

I also have Home Assistant OS running in another VM. It did appear to be affected from ProxMox crashing at one stage but now it seems to have stabilised after reinstall of Proxmox.

The computer is minipc, 4 cores, 16Gb ram .... sorry I'm a little new to this, how do I describe my setup?
