windows xp virtio driver for cpu load guests

Hello.

Can the installation of virtio driver improve performance windows xp guest seeing that guests use heavily cpu but use very small network and disk .

What are you think ?

Yes it can. But it is depending on your field of use. In the past we used xp as vm's too. I remember... we used SATA disks, and the virtio networkdriver. For us it was ok. But it is better to test this. Why to you have heavly CPU load?
