Hello,
I have a server with 2x8 core AMD and 128GB memory for around 60 Windows VDI's, a firewall and a fileserver. It has 8x 1TB 7200 SATA disks in RAID10 (hardware).
The server is really fast and the back-ups work fine, however there is 1 problem.
My fileserver crashes every time a VZdump back-up starts (like 3 minutes after). It isn't the first VM that gets backed-up, so I guess it has something to do with the back-up trigger itself.
All Windows machines are Windows server 2008 R2 64-bit with the latest updates. All are using virtio disk and E1000 network adapter. The only thing that makes the Fileserver unique is the fact that is has 6 disks attached to it (5x 100GB and 1x 1000GB).
What can I do to prevent my fileserver from crashing?
