Hello. I try to experiment with encryption of the file system of a virtual Windows server using VeraCrypt. In general, the solution works, but after a while the server freezes. Without encryption, everything is normal. What do you think this may be with? For example, maybe need to add an RNG device to a virtual machine?

Sorry if off-topic, what is your experience with VeraCrypt in general? Who extensively did you use it? Do you trust it? Is it stable? Why don't you use bitlocker?

I have not tried Bitlocker. Moreover, it is not clear to me whether the TPM trusted module inside the virtual machine will be available. It seems to me that Bitlocker is a less reliable solution if the encrypted machine falls into the hands of government agencies.
