Windows Server "innaccessable_boot_device"

Hello all,
I've been working on migrating servers from an esxi server to proxmox. After reading the wiki about removing vmware tools and running the mergeide.reg, my Windows 2000 servers still blue screen at boot. I've also tried editing the vmdk's on the esxi side and changing them to ide instead of scsi bus. I'm using Proxmox 1.5 with the 2.6.18 kernel on a Quad core Xeon 3400 box. Any suggestions?

You need to: "Extract the Atapi.sys, Intelide.sys, Pciide.sys, and Pciidex.sys files from the %SystemRoot%\Driver Cache\I386\Driver.cab file, or copy the files to the %SystemRoot%\System32\Drivers folder." read MS KB

Ah, the other places i read said to copy to system32 and not system32/drivers I'll try that and let you know.

It should go to drivers folder, if it still doe snot work then something wrong with partitions or your install got corrupted somewhere, check those.
