New user. Thanks for any help. Goal and steps taken so far/issue is:

To use windows server 2003 VM on server containing proxmox and allow remote access from clients on network.
Issue is: Imported the VM from virtual box using .ovf file and qemu. Imported x2 .vmdk disks to VM (with 2 hard drives) and attached to VM. Configured operations to boot from first and second disk. VM starts but crashes at windows server load screen with hard disk failure.

Step by step:

1. Used winscp to transfer .ovf file to proxmox directory /var/lib/vz/upload
2. Created VM (Choice of OS doesn't make a difference). For system ticked 'qemu agent' box. Hard drive has 100GB of hard disk space, 1 core for cpu and 8GB of RAM.
3. Detached hard drive and removed it.
4. used shell cmd tar -xvf filename.ova to extract .vmdk and other files.
5 used shell cmd qm importdisk 100 filename.vmdk local-lvm --format qcow 2 to import both hard disks to local-lvm storage.
6. Configured new hard disks to boot one after the other in the 'options: boot order' for the vm.
7. Launch VM. VM crashes with blue screen. VM restarts before able to read blue screen error message, even with pause vm function.

Any help would be great. Cheers.
