Hello. I am new to PVE. Set up PVE and PBS on the same host in the data center. In PBS, I connected the cifs storagebox folder on which I set up the datastore and backup virtual machines there. 2 times during the backup, my file system crashed on the windows server host. Solved by chkdsk . Why might this happen? Could it be due to slow speed between host and storagebox ?

ofc. The crash happened right during the backup. At the end it says that the copy was successfully created.
what do you mean by :

If pbs is alongside pve, there is no need of cifs just use directory.
is Windows guest share its drive for pbs ?!

mount /mnt/storagebox - cifs storage
storagebox - datastore in PBS
Now I have inserted a physical disk for copies and will test in this version.
