I would not complain - you are running a modern-day Windows 11 OS on an antiquated 12 year-old, sluggish 2ghz CPU that has already been EOL for 5 years - see here. Maybe install it bare-metal on that server & see how it performs!

You could maybe try changing that CPU type from host to something else, maybe start with the x86-64-v4 etc. Some occasionally have reported better performance.

However be aware that changing that CPU type may affect Windows licensing/authentication etc.

This is a POC/TEST before validating my migration process...

Thanks for give me the way of cpu emulation, first, test WestMere and oh miracle, windows running smoothly, then tested IvyBridge.

I will stay with IvyBridge, ( 2 socket / 8 cores / numa on ) as this seem the most optimized for my currents Xeons.

You are welcome.

validating my migration process...
Be aware: that to migrate the VM between nodes on a cluster, you'd probably anyway not want to choose host as CPU type, since if the nodes use different CPU physically, the migration will probably fail.

Maybe mark this thread as Solved. At the top of the thread, choose the Edit thread button, then from the (no prefix) dropdown choose Solved.
