I have two R9 290x cards I'd like to Passthrough to a windows 10 box. At this point in not sure if it is KVM or windows 10 causing the issue.

I followed this guide : pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Pci_passthrough#PCI_EXPRESS_PASSTHROUGH

I can get the cards working enough to see a really low res (less than 800x600) black and white login screen after POST. I can login, but eventually things will either go dark
Or lockup and freeze and look like this:

I've tried installing the latest Catalyst driver without luck. I'm not sure what else to try. anyone have any suggestions?

Also, I usually have to reboot the entire box to get the vm to boot back up with stuff showing on the screen after it locks up.

I'm running the latest beta version
Of proxmox.

Using OVMF firmware, I've gotten a little farther. Now the screen has color and looks relatively normal on boot. I can't install the catalyst drivers or navigate around for more than a few minutes without getting a blue screen with a "THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER" error.
