Hi,

Having been successful at getting GPU passthrough to work on my GL1503VS (single GPU gaming laptop) with Ubuntu Server 22 and Plex I wanted to try and get it to work with Windows too. Now the problem that I am having is that Windows does not correctly identifies my nvidia 1070 mobile and so the Nvidia drivers will not install. I'm curious to know if someone has a solution for my specific problem? When I look at the Device Path the SUBSYS is all zeroes but that is not how my 1070 looks under a normal Windows install.

Kind regards,

Tom

I think I just fixed my issue. While the Nvidia driver install would not work (complaining about not being compatible with this version of windows and not finding my GPU). I found NVCleanInstall this morning which allows to modify the driver install. It also lets you target the specific device with a specific driver. I got the right devicepath this morning and used that to find the right driver for my GPU with NVCleanInstall. To my surprise the installation succeeded and I am left with a working GPU in Windows 10!
