considering an adapter with SR-IOV to switch pfsense to the main PVE server along with wondering will it improve remote desktop performance?

i am usually experiencing a slight lag on latency, no other real issues but the very slight lag makes it more difficult to use VMs for games, working with videos, etc and just leads to a slightly degraded experience overall. it is not noticeable for most applications just a few and only by a fraction of a second but it leads to a laggy feel if it is consistent because of motion.

has anyone switched to SR-IOV and noticed that very slight lag on remote desktop/vnc improve?
