i have 2 VMs on 2 different proxmox mini systems which use 2 different usb wifi dongles with ralink chipset (rt73usb and rt2800usb), but both of them have isses from time to time.
both show this message in dmesg from time to time - and hang up afterwards:

[So Apr 16 17:17:17 2023] ieee80211 phy0: rt2x00usb_vendor_request: Error - Vendor Request 0x07 failed for offset 0x30c4 with error -110
[So Apr 16 17:17:47 2023] ieee80211 phy0: rt2x00usb_vendor_request: Error - Vendor Request 0x07 failed for offset 0x30c0 with error -110
sometimes, unloading and reloading the driver module helps resetting wifi connection.
i suspect, this is something which depends on timing/load.
can anybody recommend some cheap , non ralink wifi usb dongle which is stable for sure when used via passtrough ? or some way of tuning the setup to make it stable ?
