[SOLVED] When is systemd-boot used?

Last time I remember, when PVE was installed UEFI w/o SB on ZFS, it used systemd-boot. I believe I found it somewhere documented before, but cannot find it now.

But systemd-boot is still mentioned here:

Did this change? I just made fresh install from ISO on UEFI w/o SB and got GRUB as bootloader.

My bad, I did install it on SecureBoot. Apologies for the noise (can't delete thread as such). But if anyone can point me to the docs I remember I once found, would be thankful.
