What's your Idle Power Consumption?

Hello,

I'm struggling with the selection of my Proxmox hardware, especially the mainboard and CPU. Usually my VMs and containers will idle most of the time and it is really hard to find information about the idle / low load power consumptions of the systems.
Therefore, could you please post the idle / low load power consumptions of your setups, together with the used hardware parts, and maybe what is running on your machine?
I'm mainly interested in lower power setups with a power consumption < 100 watts.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Thomas

Well we had some small single PSU-Server running some 45watt Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1260L v5 @ 2.90GHz and with just 64GB and 4 SSDs which consumed about 50 to 70 watts during normal daily average usage as HyperV-Server. They where from SuperMicro and are even today reasonable fast considering that they are only Quad-Cores....

a Deskmini x300 with a Ryzen 5700g 8 core , 64 gb ram , 1 x 4 tb ssd , 1 x 1 tb ssd , 1 x 2tb nvme , 1 x 8tb backup drive .
( the power boost switched off in bios , all core 4.8ghz max)
VM1 = Emby server , utorrent server
VM2 = Home assistant + it's own docker apps
VM3 = docker running pi-hole , yachi , ntopng , Heimdall
VM4 = Pfsense
And on the host it's self frigate with 3 cameras and object detection, and mpd .
With all the above in idle state ( 24 hour a day ) eg , not watching my media or downloading a torrent , but recording 3 screams 25-30 watts from the plug.
That is about 15gb of ram and between 4 - 10% cpu and the biggest pull on the cpu is frigate , which goes from 10% to 4% cpu at night because all the camera go from full colour to ir b/w .

I have other VMs windows 10 / 11 and linux , but I wouldn't call them at idle.
