Hi All, I am considering having a backup or standby of select VMs at a remote site to turn on should my primary site go down. Both VE sync feature and PBS looks like they will work, but I hoping to get some insight on what people think best - using the VE sync or PBS and the pros and cons. Thanks, -ken

For failover VE sync is the better choice, however this does not replace a backup - so any kind ransomware or accidental removal/changes are going to lead to a big problem. The honest answer is you should do both or be prepared to have no fast failover or backup
