What is the best way to backup the backups?

So, i am testing with Proxmox VE and Proxmox BS, i have managed to make nightly backups of the VM's to the pbs just nicely. But in this case the VE and PBS are in the same rack. So idealy i would copy the backups offsite as well. But i'm a bit clueless as to how i best achieve this?

How do others do this?

Currently we use an offsite server for other backups, idealy i would have the PBS ssh into it to store off site backups, if you know what i mean?

for offsite backup you can use sync jobs, see https://pbs.proxmox.com/docs/managing-remotes.html
Also, you can make tape backups, see https://pbs.proxmox.com/docs/tape-backup.html

If you start syncing backups, look into Namespaces to help sort out the data.
