Webinterface security

Hi!
Currently I'm accessing my Backend / WebInterface only internally via the LAN IP + 8006 Port. The Port is blocked by UFW towards the outside public IP for security reasons.

Now I've activated the Spam quarantine and I'm getting daily eMails. If I want to "deliver" a quarantined eMail the link forwards me to the FQDN of the Server which reflects the outside-IP. And here - of course - the Port & Backend is blocked. So I can't use the "deliver" or "whitelist" links in the daily spam messages directly. I can c&p the link and replace the FQDN with the local IP but that's somewhat unhandy.

Questions:

- How save is it to publish the backend (8006 Port) to the public?
- Any other ideas how to work-around this? Any Chance to just replace the FQDN with the LAN IP in the daily Spam messages?

Thx!
