Hey everyone,
Apologies, I tried looking to see if it was already answered but I have to many possible issues to narrow my search to something meaningful.
I have a web server vm running on my proxmox node that cant be reached from outside the network.
From what I can tell the node and the vm are running in default network configurations (bridged and no firewall). The port is forwarded from the router to the webserver VM's IP. I would like to know if i should be looking at the configurations in procxmox, vs the configurations in the webserver OS, vs the router.
attempting to connect via web browser using https://url: port
if i connect using the private ip and port from within the network it works, so Im inclined to say it is not the server or proxmox, but I could be wrong
proxmox states the VM's network device (net0) is virtio = (devices mac),bridge=vmbr0,firewall=1
Does firewall = 1 mean the firewall is on via proxmox even though it is off in the firewall options at both the node and vm level?
device firewall should be allowing the required port as well
guest vm firewall
Node network
Node firewall
