Hopefully someone can enlighten me here. When I try to login through the proxmox web interface or ssh I will get connection refused. But a restart of the computer I am using will often let me login. This is from every machine I login with. I don't understand where to start to look for the problem. I have checked access logs, syslog, journalctl and can't figure out where to look for an error. Has anyone else encountered this problem.

This is indeed a very curious problem. Is it possible that the IP which the PVE server is using, is already used by another machine in the network?

I double checked the IP and it definitely is the only machine with that IP, but your post made me think about my router. I checked the router firmware and it need updating and after it restarted, it started working like it should. Thanks for responding. I was scratching my head at the machine so much, I forgot all about the gateway.
