web GUI can't reach this page but able to ping and ssh

I have a proxmox setup with a static IP and I have checked it also through the CLI but when trying to access the WebGUI with https and :8006 I am getting { can't reach this page }. but through the desktop i am able to ping and also able to ssh into the proxmox machine.

Hi,

please post the output of systemctl status pveproxy and systemctl status pvedaemon. Do you see your requests in /var/log/pveproxy/access.log?
